“When I was serving as the Chair of the Legislative Education Committee, we were holding a public hearing in the Captiol. The then-chair of the Alpine School District came to the testifiers table in that open and public and recorded meeting and announced that ‘regardless of what legislation was passed, the Alpine School District was not going to change any of their policies.’

It was made obvious that ASD leaders considered themselves the heads of a sacrosanct empire that was accountable to no one.

This attitude is seriously alarming - especially when so many lives and billions of tax dollars are involved. It is time for change - Vote YES to Prop 2 for more parental control.”
